As an Architect, Malvika Sen believes in marrying her unique design philosophy with a deep understanding of, and reflection of, each project’s context and user needs. This includes projects as diverse as the master plan for the IIM, Kozhikode, to individual homes in Mumbai.
Malvika has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an undergraduate degree from Rachana Sansad, Academy of Architecture, Mumbai. She began her career in Boston, with Payette Associates, where she was responsible for working with the University of Pittsburgh and Massachusetts General Hospital on some of their most important expansions. While at Mani Chowfla, one of the most prestigious architecture firms in India, she worked with educational institutions like IIM Kozhikode and the Sagar School.
In her individual practice, Malvika has designed showrooms for luxury watch boutique Art of Time, and designed several clinics and a 100-person corporate office for Healthspring - India’s leading primary healthcare chain. In her work on individual homes, she enjoys working closely with the families to realize their dream of a beautiful and unique home.
Malvika lives in Mumbai with her husband, two children, and their dog Buzz.
